The Apple Watch Series Eleven Review: Wrist-Flickingly Good with Longer Battery Life
Our most recent smartwatch Series Eleven delivers the one thing most people truly desire in a wearable device: longer battery life.
Apart from that, this latest version serves as an immediate successor to the Series 10, keeping pace in styling, dimensions and capabilities, with most of enhancements coming from the operating system.
This new model furthermore priced £30 lower for UK customers, available from £369 (€449/399 dollars/679 Australian dollars), and sits above the recently updated Watch SE at £219 in the budget category and the £749 Ultra 3 for top-tier users.
Design and Display
Similar to the previous Series 10, this updated version is just 9.7mm thick, resulting in a slender profile when worn, simple to slide beneath shirt sleeves and easier to wear at night.
This 2,000-nit interface is plenty bright for reading inside and outside, staying legible when viewed from different angles, which makes quickly looking at the time or messages simple.
It is covered with glass that is twice as scratch resistant than earlier versions, although not as hard compared to sapphire, that's only available with the higher-end titanium editions.
Performance and Battery
The updated wearable utilizes identical S10 processor as last year's model while adding support for cellular 5G capability and improved connectivity during situations when you're in the wilderness.
Energy storage have increased in capacity significantly with the smaller and 46mm watches in that order.
Larger model achieved approximately 48 hours in our assessment featuring overnight analysis but without exercise.
Typical wearers will just about be able to track 48 hours including sleep before needing a charge, needing just over an hour using a 20W or greater power adaptor (not included), reaching approximately 70 percent in half an hour.
Should you go out for a run, the device can continue around 8 hours for monitoring, which is long enough for endurance events or extended activities.

The most impressive innovation centers on gesture control, requiring swift turning your hand backward then returning to close applications returning to the home screen.
This functions without raising your wrist to look at the watch, allowing users to stop notifications with a satisfying flick of the wrist.
Activity Analysis

High BP warnings check for symptoms of hypertension during monthly analysis, alerting users to seek medical advice if your heart rate data suggests you may have underlying conditions.
The new sleep score metric makes Apple's sleep tracking easier to interpret, similar to competitors from multiple companies.
Each morning the watch shows a percentage score that is broken down across three areas: sleep length, timing and disturbances, each self-explanatory and available in the Health app through your mobile too.
Fitness assistant is an AI coach employing your previous workout data to provide pep talks around exercise sessions, like detecting that you have already run regular activity patterns and the level of effort you achieved.
